WEEK 7: Tarzan in New York: The Quirks of Online Communication

 Core Rules of Netiquette

Rule 5: Make yourself look good online

It was difficult for me to decide which rules of netiquette to write about. Finally, I chose to share my knowledge of Rule 5.

The network is a huge surface where individuals may meet people they would never encounter in real life. Because the internet gives anonymity, you will not be assessed based on your physical appearance. Aside from that, you might be judged on your writing. As a result, it is crucial to adhere to spelling and grammatical requirements.
"Know what you're talking about and make sense" is one of subrules of Netiquette. It is necessary to pay attention to structure and substance when creating an article. The text should be well-written, well-structured, and contain relevant information. Furthermore, ensure that your comments, articles, or communications are clear and rational. It is quite possible to write a paragraph with no grammatical or spelling problems. And, most importantly, never try to impress someone with big words that you don't comprehend. It can be difficult for readers to grasp the topic.
